This Full time position is crucial for ensuring quality nursing care across the life span. You will work as part of an inter-professional team, applying your skills in critical thinking, assessment, and planning. Your role involves direct nursing care while adhering to the standards set by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan client care in collaboration with families
• Implement personalized nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes
• Develop care plans focusing on clients' strengths and self-care goals
• Ensure ongoing modification of services based on client feedback
• Operate equipment and transport necessary items while mobile
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Registration with CLPNA as an LPN
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Two years of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
