Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System in compliance with customer-specific requirements, ISO 9001:2015, and AS9100. This position provides leadership and direction to the Quality Department and coordinates continual improvement activities throughout the organization.
The Quality Manager provides leadership and support for critical quality processes including Corrective Action, Control of Non-Conformance, Risk Assessment, PFMEA, and Engineering Change. The role is responsible for ensuring the Quality function effectively supports customer requirements, operational objectives, and company goals
About You

Lead and develop a Quality team in a manufacturing environment.
Coordinate multiple quality activities and priorities effectively.
Make appropriate decisions related to quality, non-conformance, and production control.
Identify and address risks that may impact product quality or customer requirements.
Work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Customers, and Suppliers.
Support continual improvement and drive accountability for quality performance.
Communicate quality requirements clearly throughout the organization.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Respond effectively to customer, audit, and production quality concerns.
Work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
Education & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Quality Assurance Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of related experience.
Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience working with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Certified ISO/AS9100 Lead Auditor.
Certified in Quality Core Tools including PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
Experience with Gauge R&R;, capability studies/Cpk, and 8D Corrective Actions.
Knowledge
ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 requirements.
Customer Specific Requirements.
Quality Management Systems and internal audit processes.
APQP and PPAP requirements.
PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and risk assessment.
Corrective Action and problem-solving processes.
Manufacturing processes and quality principles.
Calibration and measurement systems.
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio/WebPublish.
Skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret and apply quality standards and customer requirements.
Ability to lead internal and external audit activities.
Ability to lead and coordinate corrective action activities.
Ability to analyze quality data and prepare management reports.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and quality initiatives.
Ability to identify quality risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation activities.
Ability to develop, coach, and support employees through training and mentoring.
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
Ability to communicate quality expectations clearly throughout the organization.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in both an office and manufacturing environment.
Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions including dirt and noise.
Regular interaction with production areas and manufacturing personnel.
Office environment is clean and bright.
May require occasional extended hours to support audits, customer requirements, quality issues, or operational needs.
