Elevate patient care at Waterloo Regional Health Network as a Temporary Full Time Clinical Nurse Specialist. Focus on coordinating patient pathways and leading quality improvement initiatives in the Surgical Program.

This position involves a commitment to providing top-notch patient care in the Same Day Arthroplasty population. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will report to the Director of the Surgical Program and be integral in advancing care delivery and setting recent standards. The role requires expertise in orthopedic and pain management nursing, along with advanced leadership skills for successful team facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient care pathways effectively
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and standards development




• Provide expert consultation in complex cases
• Plan and monitor databases for outcome management
• Collaborate on Same Day Arthroplasty initiatives

Requirements:
• Master’s preparation in Nursing or enrollment in program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 5 years in orthopedic and pain management
• Advanced leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated project management and facilitation abilities
