This position requires a Registered Social Worker to deliver clinical services to clients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Under the supervision of a manager, you will conduct a variety of psychosocial assessments, support families, and educate healthcare professionals. Your role will involve coordinating care alongside an interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients
• Provide individual and group counseling services
• Liaise and advocate for clients with external resources
• Develop and deliver psycho-educational support groups
• Contribute to discharge planning and case coordination
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
• 2 years’ experience in mental health and substance use
• Current BC College of Social Workers registration
• Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
• CPR and First Aid certification
