Chart your impact as a Social Worker III at the South Calgary Health Centre. This role focuses on assessment, therapy, and leadership within the Community Addiction and Mental Health Clinic.
In this position, you will engage with an interdisciplinary team to deliver advanced therapeutic services to patients facing complex mental health challenges. Your experience in adult therapy, crisis stabilization, and evidence-based frameworks like MI and DBT will be vital. Additionally, you'll supervise students and contribute to service development and improvement initiatives as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and therapy for mental health disorders
• Act as a clinical lead and consult with interprofessional teams
• Supervise students and junior staff in clinical practices
• Develop and deliver mental health services in your specialty
• Promote quality improvement and research within the clinic
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Active registration with Alberta College of Social Workers
• 2 years recent experience in a community mental health setting
• Experience in individual and group therapy for adults
• Familiarity with trauma-focused care and DSM 5
