Vaco is seeking an Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in analog electronics testing, troubleshooting, and soldering. This role supports the inspection, repair, refurbishment, and testing of electronic assemblies in a regulated, quality-focused workplace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable working from schematics and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of analog electronic assemblies and components Execute through-hole and surface-mount soldering and desoldering to IPC-level workmanship standards Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Use electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators Identify component-level failures and support root cause analysis

Document test results, repairs, and findings per internal procedures

Support incoming inspection, rework, refurbishment, and final acceptance testing

Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper ESD controls

Follow company quality, safety, and configuration control procedures





Collaborate with engineers, quality, and operations personnel as needed

Required Qualifications

2–3+ years of hands‑on electronics technician experience

Strong background in analog electronics

Proven experience with soldering and rework (through‑hole required; SMT preferred)

Experience using standard electronic test equipment

Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions accurately

Comfortable working independently and managing assigned tasks

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a regulated or quality‑controlled environment

Familiarity with IPC soldering standards Experience with legacy or obsolete electronics

Associate degree or technical certification in electronics (preferred, not required)
