In this role, you will work on an adolescent mental health unit, providing comprehensive recreational therapy services. As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will facilitate group activities, provide individual support, and ensure client progress through assessments and treatment management. You'll also communicate with healthcare teams during rounds and family conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver recreational therapy assessments and interventions
• Facilitate group sessions for youth and families
• Support families during acute mental health crises




• Manage patient treatment progress and document outcomes
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop care plans

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field
• Active registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association
• 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric recreation therapy
• Mental health acute care experience required
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
