Within the framework of authorized policies, approved budgets and operating goals:
Responsibilities Help expand our country analysis capabilities and coverage
Maintain databases, PowerPoint presentations, internal websites, and analytical tools
Monitor, analyze and produce research on economic and financial developments
Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports, including collecting, organizing and analyzing information from a variety of sources
Provide research assistance as needed to Economic Research team
Ad hoc research projects
Preferred Skills & Experience Pursuing a masters or undergraduate degree in Economics or Business
Knowledge of economics and understanding of the financial sector
Experience using Bloomberg and Microsoft Office
Experience working in a research assistant role
Strong attention to detail




Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-starter with ability to work constructively within a team and perform effectively in periodic, higher pressure situations.
The expected salary range for this position is $66,300.00 - $87,750.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract. You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
