Take on a key role as an FPGA Design Engineer focused on 4G/5G Radio Units in Kanata, Ottawa. You'll develop architectures, implement RTL blocks, and validate systems 3 days a week onsite.

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer for an essential contract position. Your expertise in wireless signal processing, radio architecture, and high-speed interfaces will be critical in the design and validation of advanced radio units. You'll work collaboratively with engineering teams to tackle complex problems while supporting system integration and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop FPGA IP architecture for 4G/5G Radio Units
• Create complex RTL blocks using Verilog or VHDL
• Execute verification plans using UVM techniques




• Collaborate with development teams on system integration
• Mentor junior engineers and lead critical projects

Requirements:
• 7+ years of FPGA design experience in high-speed systems
• Strong knowledge of NR, LTE, eCPRI, and CPRI protocols
• Familiarity with Quartus and Vivado environments
• Experience with UVM verification methodologies
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
