Join AMPS as an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to provide hands-on surveying solutions across North American mining operations. This full-time, project-based role emphasizes independence and professionalism while leveraging global technical support.
This position requires a degree in Surveying or Spatial Science along with over two years of underground production surveying experience. You will utilize modern total stations and GNSS technology to manage daily priorities on-site. Engage with dynamic mining environments and bring your expertise in survey control checks and adjustments, as well as experience with Deswik and gyroscopic surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver practical surveying solutions on-site
• Manage survey control checks and monthly reconciliations
• Conduct void scanning and prepare final deliverables
• Work independently and communicate effectively with teams
• Operate up-to-date surveying equipment in challenging conditions
Requirements:
• Degree in Surveying or Spatial Science
• Over 2 years’ underground production surveying experience
• Familiarity with Deswik or equivalent software
• Proficiency with GNSS-connected control systems
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French/Spanish preferred
