We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Truck Dispatcher to join our team in Terrebonne. You will be the central link between our drivers, customers, and brokers. Your goal is to maximize fleet efficiency, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain high driver satisfaction while navigating the daily challenges of the transportation industry.

Responsibilities





Fleet Coordination: Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers for local, regional, and/or long-haul (LTL/FTL) routes.

Monitoring & Support: Track driver locations and HOS (Hours of Service) in real-time using GPS and ELD systems; provide support during breakdowns or weather delays.

Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing accurate ETAs and resolving delivery issues professionally.

Load Management: Negotiate rates with brokers and utilize load boards (DAT, Truckstop) to minimize empty miles.

Documentation: Prepare and manage customs paperwork (ACE/ACI manifests) for cross-border shipments, BOLs, and driver trip envelopes.

Compliance: Ensure all drivers and equipment comply with DOT, MOT, and Quebec transportation regulations.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of experience in truck dispatching or logistics coordination.

Tech Skills: Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Isaac, TruckMate, or TMW) and Microsoft Office.

Geography: Strong knowledge of Quebec and North American road networks.

Education: High school diploma; a DEC or AEC in Transport & Logistics is a significant asset.
