Support marginalized youth in their transition to stable housing as a Caseworker with enCompass. Use your skills in relationship building and advocacy to make a meaningful impact.
As a Caseworker at enCompass, you will work with young individuals aged 16-24 facing homelessness or at risk. Your role involves developing goal plans, facilitating team meetings, and advocating for clients to various service providers. You will also be instrumental in teaching life skills and providing essential support to help these youth achieve a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support a caseload of 6 youth with goal plans
• Build positive relationships to advocate for healthy choices
• Facilitate youth life skills programs and activities
• Maintain records and client intake documentation
• Ensure food provision in line with Canada’s guidelines
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Services or related field
• 2 years of experience with marginalized populations
• Strong skills in mediation and counseling
• Adaptable and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
