Lead the Wastewater and Stormwater Operations at the City of Vaughan with your expertise in compliance and safety. As a full-time Supervisor, you'll drive operational excellence while managing a dedicated team.

In this permanent position, you will report to the Manager of Wastewater and Stormwater Services, ensuring the efficient operation of collection and management systems. Your role encompasses supervising staff, managing budgets, and providing technical direction. You'll also focus on continuous improvement and strategic planning, aligning efforts with the City’s goals and community service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance of wastewater collection and stormwater systems
• Supervise and direct operations staff work and tasks
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets




• Provide input into infrastructure design from an operational perspective
• Act as Overall Responsible Operator in stand-by rotation

Requirements:
• 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
• MECP Wastewater Collection Level III Operator license
• 5 years of experience in wastewater and stormwater systems
• Robust leadership in coaching and mentoring staff
• Thorough knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
