The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is searching for a reliable Seasonal Labourer in the Parks Division. This role involves daily upkeep and horticultural care of parks, gardens, and public spaces. The successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness of public washrooms and assist with various maintenance projects while embodying a professional demeanor representing the Town's dedication to beauty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain parks, gardens, and public spaces with care
• Perform waste collection and custodial maintenance tasks
• Operate and maintain horticultural equipment safely
• Assist with maintenance projects and special events
• Follow safety protocols and Town policies
Requirements:
• Completed high school education
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
• Horticulture training and experience
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment
