CGMH is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary full-time position in its Operating Room. You will support patients through their perioperative journey, ensuring their comfort and safety pre- and post-surgery. This role includes working with a dedicated surgical team and contributes to exceptional patient outcomes while adhering to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered care in the Surgical Services department
• Support the surgical team during operative procedures
• Deliver post-operative Level II recovery care




• Assist in patient assessment and treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes

Requirements:
• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of acute care experience
• Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Certificate
• Scrubbing competence across surgical services
• Current BCLS and IV Certification
