Support Métis citizens as a Citizen Support Worker in Nipawin, Melfort, or Carrot River. This vital role requires expertise in navigation of complex public systems and support services.

This full-time, permanent position is accountable to the Ma Faamii Operations Supervisor. You will assist Métis citizens in accessing housing, mental health services, family supports, and cultural resources tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will include developing provincial support service inventories and fostering relationships with community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Métis citizens in navigating multi-jurisdictional systems
• Develop a provincial inventory of community support services
• Maintain skilled documentation of citizen interactions




• Facilitate community outreach activities regularly
• Represent MN-S and Ma Faamii at community events

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in human services or related experience
• Experience in public service navigation
• Knowledge of community resources is essential
• Effective communication skills, including Indigenous languages beneficial
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required
