Elevate patient care as a General Imaging Radiological Technologist at Nova Scotia Health. This permanent, full time role requires expertise in radiological technology and minimal supervision.
Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide patient-centered care while operating advanced radiological equipment. The position requires independent judgment and effective communication in a multidisciplinary setting. Additionally, you must follow the ALARA principle to ensure safety while performing diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate radiological equipment with minimal supervision
• Provide effective patient-centered care and support
• Maintain communication in a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Travel to other sites as necessary
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
• CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure
• Experience in multiple diagnostic modalities is an asset
• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to work independently
