Royal Camp Services provides industry leading remote location accommodations for workforce housing. We offer long-term and seasonal employment in the culinary, hospitality, remote site services, and remote site operations industries.We have a full-time opening for a Placement Coordinator to work out of our South Edmonton office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in an environment which requires many quick decisions throughout the day. Daily goals can only be met by responding to sudden last minute challenges with an organized and positive approach.A typical shift for a Placement Coordinator includes contacting staff via phone, email, and text to arrange future assignments at various remote sites, database data entry, and supervising field staff during the morning transportation process.Placement Coordinator duties include but are not limited toCoordinate field staff with work assignments based upon their skill level and remote site requirementsMaintain an active available employee list and communicate to Operations about staffing needsAct as the liaison between drivers, field staff, partner companies,
and office staffVerify field staff safety certifications and fit-for-duty statusProvide break and sick day coverage of front reception by directing all incoming calls to the appropriate office staff while greeting customers and clients to the officeAssist with warehouse order picking and cleaning dutiesComplete, manage, and distribute daily operational documentationRecord and maintain accurate employee database recordsBook hotels, taxis, and busesIssue minor disciplinary infractions to staffOther miscellaneous duties as requiredPosition RequirementsAvailable for full-time work Monday through FridayAvailable to start at either 6:30AM or 8:00AMThis position requires on-call availability for evenings and weekends on a rotational basisExperience coordinating employee work assignments in a high call volume environment an assetPost-secondary education an assetLimited travel to remote sites across Western CanadaStrong Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills requiredAbility to multi-task and handle constant interruptionsFluent spoken and written EnglishProven time management abilitiesWhat Royal Camp Services offersCompetitive industry wagesCompensation for on-call dutiesBenefits package available following probationary periodOne hour lunch breakA solid safety culture emphasizing training and awarenessHigh performing coworkers who will help you excel and adaptDue to the volume of applications received phone calls, walk‐ins and / or faxed resumes will not be accepted.
