Embark on a key role in finance as a Senior Finance Analyst at Maple Leaf Foods. Focus on fixed assets, month-end close, and support diverse finance projects on a contract basis.

In this contract position, you will report to the Manager, Finance - Fixed Assets and manage the reporting, tracking, analysis, and audit of fixed and intangible assets along with investment properties. Your expertise in SAP and tight attention to detail will be vital in ensuring accurate financial transactions and supporting the broader team with inquiries and ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own the fixed assets cycle for assigned operations
• Report on monthly management control and quarterly reports
• Manage quarterly idle asset inquiries for MLF
• Organize C3 self-testing and documentation
• Support KPMG audit requests and other ad hoc tasks

Requirements:
• CPA with a minimum of 5 years in finance
• Proficiency with SAP and fixed assets cycle
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Detail-oriented with solid communication skills
• Ability to work independently
