Full-time Temporary Educational Assistant (Classroom Complexity) - 1.0 FTE

Red Deer, AB

Please note that this prospect is open to all applicants (internally and externally).

The successful candidate be supporting a young student with complex academic, sensory, and behavioral needs. The successful candidate will implement individualized behavior support plans, deliver academic accommodations, and facilitate classroom inclusion working with the teacher and inclusion team.

Key responsibilities

Implement proactive de-escalation strategies, regulation routines, and positive behavior plans.

Deliver academic modifications under teacher direction to keep the student engaged.

Support active participation in classroom routines while building student independence.

Track daily behavioral and academic data to inform ongoing intervention strategies.
