As a crucial part of the founding team at V!VA Leaside, scheduled to open in 2026, you will coordinate impactful programs for Community Members dealing with dementia and cognitive impairments. Your role involves crafting personalized experiences while collaborating with various teams to promote independence and connection. This position is all about fostering a vibrant community where engagement is a priority.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver meaningful programs for Community Members
• Adapt activities based on individual needs and preferences
• Facilitate group engagements promoting dignity and connection




• Document and manage Community Member life stories and interests
• Collaborate with families to enhance programming participation

Requirements:
• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
• 3+ years of experience in memory care or similar settings
• Knowledge of person-centred dementia care practices
• Creativity and solid relationship-building skills
• Current CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Screening
