We are seeking qualified individuals for the role ofa Temp Entry Level Operator – Warehouse. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West,
NL requiring candidates to work a 7-days on/7-daysoff (12-hour rotation– days/nights).
Job Responsibilities:
Assistin stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval,andtimelydelivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into Ellipse
Ensure understanding of cost implications on all transactions: Issues, credits, and adjustments
Ensure workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock
Organize andmaintainhousekeeping ofthewarehouse and surrounding area
Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to Warehouse Coordinator
Operate a loader, forklift, pallet jack,or other equipment asrequired
Make team safety and efficiency priorities
Conduct periodic cycle counts and work to repatriate shadow inventory to warehouse control
Follows all environmental and safety policies as well as policies outlined in the employee handbook.
Perform all other duties assigned by supervision whiledemonstratinganauthentic teamplayerattitude.
Routinely makes informed judgment calls and performs work in the best interest of the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 2 yearsofexperience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing workplace
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
Excellent work ethic, and attendance record.
Microsoftapplicationsknowledge.
Education & Experience:
Secondary School (Required)
License:
Driver’s License (Required)
