Join Voices 4 Ability Radio as a Reporter dedicated to telling impactful stories within the Canadian disability community. You'll focus on crafting news that informs and engages our audience through interviews and field reporting.This position requires a passion for news and solid storytelling skills. As a Reporter, you will research and present stories that highlight the abilities of community members while collaborating with team members. You'll play a vital role in delivering accurate information and engaging programming that resonates with our listeners.Key Responsibilities:Research, write, and present news stories for broadcastsIdentify and develop compelling stories through interviewsCover live events and breaking news as requiredConduct interviews and extract valuable informationEngage with audiences via social media and community eventsRequirements:Previous experience as a journalistPost-secondary education in journalism requiredStrong attention to detail in reportingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesElevate your journalism career while making meaningful contributions to the disability community.
