NSHA is seeking licensed practical nurses to provide care within their scope of practice and collaborate with patients and the health care team. Under RN supervision, LPNs perform nursing interventions when acuity is manageable and outcomes are predictable.
Documentation must follow NSHA processes. Note: IV initiation and IV medication administration are current entry-level competencies in the LPN curriculum, but not universal across units; check with Charge Nurse for area-specific approvals.
