As a Laboratory Operations Coordinator , you will be responsible for coordinating daily laboratory operations, maintenance activities, and refurbishment projects while ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements. Working closely with researchers, Building Superintendents, Area Owners, and project teams, you will help create an environment where scientific work can thrive through effective planning, collaboration, and operational excellence.

What you will be doing!

Managing Laboratory Maintenance / Operations:

Developing, maintaining, and managing a maintenance and operations program for a complex group of laboratories in conjunction with the Building Superintendent and area owners:

Coordinating with area owners and Building Superintendents,



acting as work permit authorizer for all laboratory maintenance activities as part of the Integrated Work Control (IWC) process, including developing work plans and LOTO documentation as required to support work package development. Initiating detailed corrective and preventive maintenance work requests.

Attending and constructively participate in the meetings which are part of the maintenance scheduling process, ensuring work is coordinated and ready for execution at pre-defined milestones.

Submitting and maintaining up-to-date chemical inventories and asset management across assigned laboratories.

Managing procurement of general supplies/consumables across assigned laboratories.

Managing Laboratory Projects:

Supporting project teams in the execution of all S&T; projects in the laboratories, including the installation
