Lactation Consultant - Breastfeeding Clinic Part-time
FTE: Must provide availability of a 0.30 FTE

Shift Schedule (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs): Mon-Sun – 8 hour day shifts

Current registration in good standingwith the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS certification required at time of hire
Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience as an IBCLC required
3-5 years’ experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient care for breastfeeding preferred
Preferred candidates will demonstrate ongoing professional development throughrecognized courses in Maternal and/or Newborn Nursing (e.g., Perinatal Nursing,



Pediatric Advanced Life Support [PALS], etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work with families
Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize
Good team player
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Hours of Work: Monday-Sunday 0800-1600, 0830-1630 (hours subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary : $42.72 to $59.33 per hour
