This 13-month position seeks a dedicated individual with a biology, forestry, or environmental studies degree and two years of experience. Your role will involve coordinating stewardship actions, managing data, and leading a team of interns during the fieldwork season. Collaboration with partners, including Indigenous communities, is essential to fulfill conservation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate stewardship actions at NCC nature reserves
• Supervise and train interns for field and office tasks
• Conduct monitoring and data collection across diverse ecosystems
• Manage GIS files and prepare stewardship maps
• Collaborate with various stakeholders for conservation initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in biology, forestry, or environmental studies
• Two years of skilled biological experience
• Strong flora and fauna identification skills
• Experience in outdoor navigation and fieldwork
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to rent a car
