Advance your nursing career with West Coast General Hospital's full-time Emergency RN training in Port Alberni, BC. This prospect combines comprehensive theory and practicums to prepare you for specialized care.

This role is a regular full-time training position to equip Registered Nurses with the skills needed in Island Health's specialty department. Trainees will be transitioned into a regular rotation following successful completion of their training. Emphasis on patient care, safety, and quality is vital in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients/residents
• Plan and organize your assigned workload
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and community representatives




• Ensure compliance with BCCNM standards
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Active RN registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Recent experience in medical and/or surgical settings
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
