Weyburn Free Methodist Church is looking for a full time Associate Pastor who is eager to learn, grow, serve, and help people seek Jesus and serve others.

We’re intentionally leaving this position somewhat open-ended.

We believe God gives people different gifts, passions, and strengths—and we’re interested in discovering how yours might fit within the life and ministry of WFMC.

Perhaps you’re passionate about youth. Maybe you’re energized by young adults, worship, discipleship, outreach, evangelism, pastoral care, preaching, or helping people take their next steps with Jesus.

We’re open to the possibilities.

Our hope is to find someone who loves Jesus, loves people, and wants to use their gifts to help our church become a flourishing community where everyone seeks Jesus.

You don’t have to fit a particular ministry box. We’re willing to shape the role around the right person and their gifts and strengths.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus

Demonstrates Christian character and spiritual maturity

Loves people and enjoys building relationships

Is eager to learn and grow

Can work collaboratively with others

Is willing to lead, but also willing to serve

Has demonstrated ministry gifts and a desire to use them

Shares the values and theological commitments of the Free Methodist Church

Formal ministry education and previous pastoral experience are valuable, but we are interested in the whole person, not simply a résumé.

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Full-time Associate Pastor

Employment: Permanent

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

Compensation: Salary to be negotiated based on experience, qualifications, and role

The Associate Pastor will report to and collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor while working alongside staff and volunteers to advance the vision of WFMC.
