We offer a energetic workplace culture, along with a competitive salary, excellent benefit package, a defined benefit pension plan, paid vacation, paid personal leave days and discounted transportation on our bus and passenger rail services.ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTThe Production Worker will work with the other trades adhering to production schedules in a safe manner.MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIESWorks independently and with other trades in the remanufacturing and repair of equipment used in the transportation industryWorks from blueprints, sketches, manufacturer's patterns, circuit diagrams or schematics, and construction specificationsUses hand and power tools commonly used in the industryAdapts to new methods, processes,



material and equipmentAssist trades as neededFollows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipmentMay work various shifts and on weekends and some work outdoors in adverse weatherPerforms other related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSSecondary School Diploma, Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC), or General Educational Diploma (GED)1-2 years experience in a production environmentExperience using hand and power toolsExperience in finish carpentry, window and flooring installation considered an assetMust be mechanically inclinedProficient in reading, interpreting and working from blueprintsGood interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)Excellent organizational and planning skillsKnowledge of safety codes and demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious mannerDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentCommitment to Health and SafetyMust be able to work shift work:Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.M. to 4:00 p.M.Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.M. to 12:00 a.M.Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 11:00 p.M. to 9:00 a.M.APPLICATION PROCESSThe successful candidate will need to pass the following clearances: criminal record check, employment references and education verification.CLOSING DATEOctober 4, 2026,
