Lakeridge Health is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner for its Mental Health & Addictions Program. This role requires a Masters of Nursing and the ability to perform patient assessments and consultations in a rapid-paced workplace. You will join a multi-site, inter-professional Crisis Intervention Team and work collaboratively to support both youth and adults.
Key Responsibilities:



- Provide psychiatric assessments and consultation services - Diagnose and manage mental health and substance use disorders - Prescribe medication and interpret diagnostic tests - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning - Advocate for clients and their families in care decisions
Requirements: - Current RN (EC) registration with Nurse Practitioner certificate - 2+ years of experience in Mental Health & Addictions - Effective communication skills with team and community partners - Commitment to trauma-informed practices - Proven track record of attendance and performance
