JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager of Spiritual Services, the worker is responsible for providing spiritual and religious support to any patient using a holistic approach in accordance with professional standards and based on the vision, mission and policies and procedures of Vitalite Health Network.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in theology, pastoral ministry or religious studies;
Practicums in clinical spiritual care accredited by the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC);
Membership in good standing with ACSS or recognized equivalence;
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a hospital or similar environment;
Any other combination of relevant training and experience deemed equivalent;
Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software applications used within the Network;
Solid organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to set priorities;
Effective interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills;
Initiative, leadership and discernment;
Motivation,



enthusiasm and flexibility;
Ability to show commitment, adhere to changes, and manage changes with a positive attitude;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
Valuable work history (performance and attendance);
Adherence to skilled ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
Adherence to Vitalite Health Network's confidentiality rules.
