This full-time remote role focuses on elevating the Paralympic classification system. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity within sports, alongside strong technical knowledge of the Canadian sport system. Experience as a Para athlete or classifier will further enhance your fit for this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support programming aligned with CPC’s strategic priorities
• Provide education to enhance classification capacity
• Collaborate with NSOs to ensure athlete classifications are completed
• Liaise with the Athlete Services team for athlete-centric solutions
• Develop training resources to fill classification gaps
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• 3-5 years in a leadership sport role in Canada
• Experience in National Sport Organizations
• Knowledge of IPC classification processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and creative mindset
