We are on a mission to revolutionize how employers stay connected with their former colleagues. We believe relationships matter and are here to provide a simple, affordable, and automated solution that keeps those connections alive.
We are a seed-stage company (~ $12M in venture capital from Tier 1 funds) that has assembled some of the best builders, designers, and product minds to reimagine the future of work.
We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Toronto office as one of our first twenty hires. This is an prospect to join us on the ground floor, working alongside seasoned founders with a track record of successful companies. As a pivotal member of our growing team, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact and contribute to our collective vision.
About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Solutions Engineer, you own the technical side of a customer's life on our platform - getting them live, keeping their data correct, and figuring out what happened when it isn't. Every customer connects their HR and recruiting systems to us, and every one of them is set up a little differently. You'll work directly with our customers' IT teams, alongside Customer Success on live accounts, and with Engineering to automate the work you find yourself doing twice. We are looking for someone who chases a discrepancy until they know the cause, and who can explain what they found to someone who isn't technical.
Here are some of the things you'll be doing:
Own the technical onboarding of new customers, from connecting their HR and recruiting systems to going live
Work with each client's IT team to get their data flowing into our platform correctly
Migrate historical employee and hiring data, and make sure it lines up with what comes in live
Set each customer up on our platform and make sure it's configured the way they need
Keep an eye on customer data and catch problems before clients do
Investigate and resolve client issues, and work with Engineering on the ones that need a code fix
Answer client questions with data, including which applications and hires we drove
Partner with Engineering to automate manual work and bring what you learn in the field back into the product
Join prospect calls as the technical voice on the team
Skills and Experience
3-7 years in solutions engineering,
implementation, technical account management, or a similar hands‑on customer‑facing technical role
Strong SQL - you can write your own joins against an unfamiliar schema and trust the answer
REST APIs - reading documentation, making calls, and reasoning about what a response is telling you
Python or similar scripting for data cleanup, validation, and automation
Excellent written communication, especially explaining technical findings to non-technical people
HR tech experience (HRIS or ATS systems) an asset
Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, or MySQL an asset - enough to read our code and open a small PR
Experience working with remote teams
Bonus: Experience with Workday / ADP / Greenhouse / Merge integrations
Note: Not all of these are required, if you have a subset of these we would love to talk to you!
