BURNCO is a leading supplier of construction materials, proudly serving communities across North America. We are committed to quality, safety, and customer service, and we're building a team that reflects those same values.
Are you a procurement professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills? We are hiring a Contracts and Sourcing Analyst to support our sourcing team through analytics, market research, coordinate sourcing events, maintain accurate contract and supplier records, and provide clear recommendations to procurement professionals and business stakeholders. This is an exciting chance for individuals who wants to deepen their experience in strategic sourcing, contracts, supplier management, and data-driven decision-making while contributing measurable value across the business.
Reporting to the Director, Procurement, you will support and execute Source-to-Contract, administer the contract lifecycle, analyze supplier and spend data, and help deliver savings, business and spend insights, risk reduction, working-capital improvements, and measurable business value. If you have a keen eye for detail and data integrity; the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and competing priorities; and a practical approach to identifying efficiencies, managing commercial risk, and improving procurement processes, we want to hear from you!
What you will be doing Inform, coordinate, and execute competitive sourcing activities, including requests for information, quotations, and proposals, while delivering agreed milestones and final recommendations within approved project timelines
Develop complete sourcing documents, bid packages, evaluation criteria, pricing templates, supporting data, and appendices, with required stakeholder engagement
Analyze supplier proposals using documented scoring, total-cost-of-ownership analysis, commercial term reviews, and risk assessments; prepare clear evaluation summaries and recommendations
Support contract drafting, review, negotiation, approval, execution, amendment, renewal, and close-out activities, ensuring completion within agreed service levels and maintaining a complete approval record
Maintain the contract repository, ensuring executed agreements, amendments, documentation, approvals,

and related records are uploaded promptly
Support supplier onboarding and ongoing compliance activities by coordinating required documentation, approvals, insurance, and supplier information with relevant stakeholders
Review, coordinate, and report on contract lifecycle metrics, renewals, and spend under contract, ensuring a complete and timely contract lifecycle process
Regularly review contract milestones, obligations, renewal and expiry dates, insurance requirements, and pricing adjustments; coordinate renewal and expiry notices with relevant specialists
Complete spend, supplier, category, and market analyses to identify and quantify sourcing, vendor consolidation, compliance, savings, and working-capital opportunities
Track assigned sourcing initiatives and validate negotiated savings, cost avoidance, contract coverage, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs; prepare accurate dashboards and status reports
Work with business units to understand and define business requirements, specifications, scope, and demand to support effective sourcing strategies
Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and other functions to resolve commercial issues, document decisions and approvals, and elevate risks early to protect sourcing and contract timelines
Support ad hoc procurement and business projects, delivering agreed outcomes by deadline and maintaining clear status, action, and decision records
What we would like from you Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Law, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract administration, supply chain, or commercial analysis
Procurement or supply chain designation, or documented progress toward one, is an asset
