Lead fleet reliability and optimal service as a Superintendent Mechanical with Dawson Road Maintenance. This full-time role in Fort St. John focuses on equipment maintenance and productive planning.
As a permanent Superintendent Mechanical, you will report to the Manager, Operations, and ensure successful performance across all equipment operations. Your expertise will drive the scheduling and prioritization of maintenance tasks and support the supervision of the mechanical workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop effective action plans to meet departmental goals
• Schedule preventative maintenance and ensure compliance
• Supervise maintenance team and shop procedures
• Inspect equipment according to government standards
• Train and develop mechanics for improved performance
Requirements:
• Journeyman Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Three years of supervisory experience required
• Valid Driver’s License (Class 5 minimum)
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Programs
• Experience with Microsoft Office and tracking systems
