Support meaningful client interactions at The Nest as a casual Program Assistant. Provide essential life skills assistance, emotional support, and engage in community activities daily.
As a Program Assistant, you will be part of a agile team that assists clients through life skills programs and day-to-day support. Responsibilities include medication administration and feedback on client needs. Your contribution will help create a safe and healthy environment fostering client well-being and social connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medication and provide reminders regularly
• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Organize and lead social and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Perform housekeeping duties and ensure facility cleanliness
Requirements:
• High school diploma and community social service certificate
• 1 year experience with marginalized populations
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Criminal records check and health screenings mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
