En tant que spécialiste technique et méthodes, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans le soutien aux opérations et l’optimisation des procédés de fabrication. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes de production pour améliorer la qualité, l’efficacité et la formation, tout en contribuant à des projets concrets qui façonnent un avenir énergétique durable. Ce rôle pratique mettra à profit votre expertise technique et votre esprit analytique pour favoriser l’amélioration continue et l’excellence opérationnelle. Lieu : Varennes, Québec Horaire : Du lundi au vendredi, de 7h00-16h00
Opportunity Join a team that feeds homes, schools, hospitals and industries. As a technical and methods specialist, you will play a key role in supporting operations and optimizing manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production teams to improve quality, efficiency and training, while contributing to concrete projects that shape a sustainable energy future. This practical role will leverage your technical expertise and analytical spirit to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence. Location: Varennes Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00-4pm
Your Impact Define and document manufacturing strategies, including processes, sequences and control points.
Ensure that working methods and technical documentation are up to date and accurate.
Provide technical support and write repair procedures for failures, assembly errors or non-conformities.
Provide the Quality team with the data needed to create the control cards.
Support tooling acquisition and improvement projects.
Integrate changes in corporate standards (HUB, GPG) into local operations.
Participate in design reviews to validate fabricability.
Contribute to internal and external audits and corrective actions.




Perform floor checks to ensure that established methods are applied.
Participate in the analysis and implementation of the PFMEA (analysis of failure modes and their effects).
Support operator training: updating methods, selecting trainers, validating recruitment tests.
Propose improvements to working methods, equipment and tools.
Provide remote technical support when installing transformers in customers.
Contribute to transformer submissions by providing expertise on fabricability and production requirements.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Profile DEC in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
5 to 10 years experience in methods or in the power transformers industry.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize as a team.
Demonstrated leadership, autonomy and initiative.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems proactively.
Analytical spirit and pragmatic approach.
Communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, ownership and initiative.
Proficiency in French and English, both orally and in writing.
Master of MS Office.
The candidate must already be authorized to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
