The Referral Assessment Nurse will participate in wait time data collection processes.QualificationsRequiredCurrent registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)Excellent interpersonal,



communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary teamStrong understanding of patient-centred careBasic computer skills including keyboarding, data entry, email and internet usePhysical and mental health to fulfill the responsibilities of the positionSatisfactory employment recordMust be legally able to work in CanadaPreferredBachelor of NursingThree (3) years nursing experience within ambulatory/oncologyKnowledge of CancerCare Manitoba Referral process and triage experienceProficient with MS Word/Excel/OutlookExperience with electronic chartingExperience within the referral office or a referral office settingAbility to speak FrenchAssetCertified Oncology Nurse [CON(C)]Commitment to ongoing professional development.Leadership and self-developmentThis position is subject to a Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, an Adult Abuse Registry Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
