It serves as a bridge between grantees and donors, manages and supports team resources, and steps in at key points to complete relevant administrative tasks.Core Areas of Responsibility:Deliver comprehensive support to donors through both telephone and email, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectivelyCreate and distribute tax receipt lettersCoordinate the memorial and tribute program,



including the creation of notifications and gift reportsEnsure that files are stored and labelled accurately in digital file management systems like SharePoint.Review obituaries and ensure any relevant changes are made in the databaseReview administrative procedures and make changes as requiredDraft instructions for administrative procedures for considerationProvide administrative support to the generosity planning team, including taking meeting notes and ensuring follow-upTake on special projects as requestedAbout You:Experience, Education, and CredentialsDiploma related to fundraising, office administration or non-profit management1-3 years of experience working in an administrative role, ideally in a non-profit environmentProficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, and Outlook with intermediate-level skills in Excel; Mail Merge skill is compulsory)Background in customer service will be considered an assetSkills and AbilitiesStrong communication skills, written and verbalAbility to use advanced features of Microsoft Word such as Mail MergeExcellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyDemonstrates self-efficacy with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage various tasks and effectively achieve resultsProven accuracy and attention to detail, even when working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.Ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholdersWhat We Offer:Starting salary in the range of $44,908 to $53,890A comprehensive benefits package including health and dental benefitsA Health Spending AccountAccess to Consult+ Maple (Virtual Doctor Service)EFAP program available to employees and family membersPension program starting at six months of employmentVacation starting at three weeks per yearEco-pass program (half cost bus pass)Maternity/Parental Leave Top UpProfessional Development opportunitiesApplicants who do not fully meet all essential requirements are still encouraged to submit their applications for consideration for this position.
