Carecor Health Services is hiring an Acute Respite Care Nurse to provide compassionate patient-centered care. This casual permanent position offers flexible 12-hour shifts, accommodating days, evenings, and weekends.

As a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with Carecor, you will support a vital 24/7 medical respite program for individuals facing housing insecurity or health crises. Your role will include delivering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care to diverse populations and emphasizing health equity. Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Perform accurate clinical assessments with sound judgment




• Manage conflicts and develop solutions proactively
• Provide crisis intervention and escalations where necessary
• Implement trauma-informed care principles in practice

Requirements:
• Current R.N. registration in Ontario
• Minimum three years of experience in acute care
• Solid knowledge of 2SLGBTQ community health issues
• BScN preferred or extensive nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
