EsseReale is on the lookout for a passionate Embedded Systems Engineer Intern for a 12-week, part-time internship in St. John's, NL. You will play a pivotal role in developing Yo-Go, our cutting-edge electric mobility platform, working closely under the CTO. Key responsibilities include firmware development in C/C++, sensor integration, and real-time system testing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop embedded firmware for Yo-Go’s subsystems
• Integrate sensors and peripherals for efficient operation
• Interface with motor controllers using communication methods




• Implement calibration, data filtering, and fault detection
• Conduct hardware in the loop testing for validation

Requirements:
• Experience with embedded C/C++ and development environments
• Familiarity with sensors, microcontrollers, and debugging
• Knowledge of communication buses like CAN and UART
• Understanding of basic control systems and sensor fusion
• Ability to document technical processes clearly
