Contribute to community wellness as a Family Resource Worker in Sanirajak, Nunavut. This essential role focuses on coordinating prevention programs for families and community members.
As a Family Resource Worker, you will support the Family Wellness office under the Supervisor of Family Wellness. Collaborating closely with the Community Social Services Worker and various community resources, your mission is to deliver comprehensive programs aimed at supporting families, children, youths, and elders. This position is vital to enhancing community well-being and child development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate prevention programs for families and children
• Collaborate with the Community Social Services Worker
• Support community initiatives targeting youths and elders
• Work closely with community resources for effective outreach
• Facilitate connections between families and available services
Requirements:
• Limited to Nunavut Inuit candidates only
• Experience in community service or social work
• Robust interpersonal skills and community engagement
