The Delivery and Recovery Driver (DZ licence requirement) is responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport recent products to East Penn Canada customers and to pick up used or defective batteries for recycling.This role directly contributes to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional deliveries, while maintaining compliance with all transportation, safety, and environmental regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and pick up products according to established routes and schedulesLoad and unload products safely and efficiently - frequently lifting loads of up to 50 lbsAccurately complete delivery, shipping, and warehouse documentationMaintain professional relationships with customers at delivery locationsPerform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptlyFollow all company, health & safety,



and transportation rules and regulationsOccasionally assist with warehouse duties and inventory countsExperience & Qualifications2+ years of commercial delivery driving experienceValid DZ driver's licence with air brake endorsement and a clean driver's abstractWilling and able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitivelyWilling and able to push, pull, or move up to 100 lbs occasionallyStrong customer service skills with at least one year of customer-facing experienceExcellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with the ability to confidently provide customers with delivery and product information when requestedComfortable working with mobile technologyStrong organization and time-management skillsAble to maintain composure and professionalism at all times1+ years of warehouse experience a strong assetForklift experience and experience transporting dangerous goods are robust assetsAdditional ConsiderationsAcceptable results from background checks, including criminal record, professional references, and driver's abstracts, will be required as a condition of employmentHiring range for this role is $28.00 to $30.00 per hour (actual salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data)
