As a Public Health Nurse, you will be integral to the Population Health Services, applying knowledge of health promotion, epidemiology, and community development. Your work will include immunizations, disease investigation, and providing prenatal and family assessments. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to promote healthy behaviors and effective parenting practices among diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Immunize children and adults against vaccine-preventable diseases
• Investigate communicable disease cases in outbreak management




• Provide prenatal and postnatal assessments and support
• Collaborate with teams for educational health presentations
• Document observations, outcomes, and maintain health records

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM practice registration
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Minimum six months relevant Public Health nursing experience
• Valid Class V B.C. Driver's licence required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
