Become a vital part of Nova Scotia Health's team as a 4th Class Shift Operator in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital. Ensure the effective operation of facilities through expertise in general maintenance and project activities.

As the Shift Operator 4th Class, you will report to the Chief Engineer & Facility Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations in heating, air conditioning, and water systems. This permanent, full time role demands professional judgment while adhering to safety legislation and standards. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will enhance the overall function of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular maintenance on heating and air conditioning units
• Ensure compliance with building code standards and OH&S; regulations




• Perform project-related activities to enhance facility operations
• Travel to other sites as necessary using a reliable vehicle
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Requirements:
• Certification as a Shift Operator - 4th Class
• Access to a reliable vehicle for travel
• Knowledge of building code standards
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Competency in French is a preferred asset
