This role is a full-time weekday schedule (Monday - Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM) Minimum of 40 hours per week.
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: As part of the Skookumchuk team you will apply your knowledge of at our highly technical and innovative mill facilities. You will also:
Ensure safety standards are met by following Canfor safe work and lockout procedures
Develop strong working relationships with your peers and team
Maintain and repair mobile equipment such as;
325D High decker
For this role, you will come equipped with:
Experience with hydraulics, electronics and welding
Superior troubleshooting skills
Solid analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Solid background in heavy industry
