Shape Vancity's financial future as an Asset Liability Management Consultant. This remote role involves risk analysis, treasury strategy development, and collaboration to optimize financial outcomes for our members.

In this full-time position, you will support Vancity's asset-liability and treasury strategies by conducting market and interest rate risk analyses. As a finance skilled, your strong quantitative skills will play a vital role in forecast development, sensitivity analyses, and balance sheet management. This position is key to promoting long-term financial sustainability and enhancing member services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop balance sheet forecasts and financial margin projections
• Perform interest rate and liquidity risk analyses




• Provide recommendations to manage risks effectively
• Document analysis for hedging portfolio management
• Prepare insights and reports for stakeholders

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline
• 5+ years in treasury or asset liability management
• Strong understanding of financial principles and risk
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities for diverse audiences
