Become a vital part of CMHA Toronto as an Occupational Therapist on the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment Team. Your expertise in recovery-oriented interventions will help support adults dealing with mental health challenges.
This full-time, permanent role involves providing assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation for clients living with reliable mental illnesses. Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team, you'll design personalized service plans that prioritize community integration and promote independence through functional assessments and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and identify client needs
• Develop tailored, recovery-oriented service plans in collaboration with clients
• Deliver evidence-based interventions promoting independence and community participation
• Teach essential independent living skills such as budgeting and nutrition
• Connect clients with necessary community resources and healthcare services
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation practices
• Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle
