Become an Occupational Therapist at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre, working within a multidisciplinary team. Focus on patient assessments and treatments in both acute and long-term care settings.

As an Occupational Therapist I, your role will encompass providing evidence-informed services tailored to individuals, groups, or communities. You will collaborate closely with therapy assistants and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient independence. Key responsibilities include comprehensive assessments and shared goal-setting with clients and their families for effective rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
• Collaborate with therapy assistants and physical therapists




• Engage clients and their families in rehabilitation processes
• Participate in interprofessional teams for quality improvement
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
• Satisfactory criminal record check
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
